What is the free consultation and video review?
The purpose of the consultation and video review is to give me an idea of where you are in the development of your speaking skills and style. First, we meet by phone or video conference. I ask a few questions about your experience, any previous training you may have had, and your feelings about where you are in your development and what areas you think you need to work on. Then, we review the details of creating your demo video.
The demo video will be of you giving a short, approximately two-minute, presentation on any subject you choose. I have no interest in content; what I am evaluating is your delivery and style.
I will be honest, often blunt, and give you the feedback you need. My job is to tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. I never dumb down a review. If you are great and don't need my help, I'll tell you so. If you are a train wreck and we need to start at square one, I'll tell you so. The review will be an honest, forthright analysis of where you stand.
